Review: Pilgrim's Progress and Christiana's Progress for Devotional Reading by Clara E. Murray

Pilgrim's Progress and Christiana's Progress for Devotional ReadingPilgrim's Progress and Christiana's Progress for Devotional Reading by Clara E. Murray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is a condensed version of Parts I and II of Pilgrim's Progress. The editor, Clara Murray, entitled Part II: Christiana's Progress. Part II tells the story of Christian's wife and children.

The book, intended for devotional reading as the title suggests, served its purpose well. I greatly enjoyed re-reading this classic allegory in this summarized fashion. Very good Sunday afternoon reading.

Good luck finding a copy of my edition! It was printed in 1976 and recently given to me by a kind relative. I look forward to passing it on to someone else.

[Note: the book is actually 203 pages long. It is only Part II that is 84 pages.]
